Pablo Zuleta Zahr at the Studio La Città in Verona

This summer the Studio La Città gallery in Verona is showing Pablo Zuleta Zahr’s four channel video installation Butterflyjackpot (2006) as well as the photo series Baquedano (2003-2006) and Ereignishorizont (2007). The exhibition, curated by Stefanie Kreuzer, runs from July 6 to September 30. A catalog to the show will be published.

Kerstin Drechsel and Lovett/Codagnone at the Cobra Museum in Amstelveen

Under the title Just Different the Cobra Museum Amstelveen is presenting a major group exhibition focusing on gender politics, alternative lifestyles, and identity formation in the fine arts at the beginning of the 21st century. The Berlin painter Kerstin Drechsel is showing eight paintings from her series POSTER_BOX (2003-2004), while the New York artist duo Lovett/Codagnone is represented with their work Greetings from 1996. The exhibition, curated by Frank Wagner and encompassing some 100 works by 35 international artists, is on view from June 14 to September 21.
Kerstin Drechsel und Lovett/Codagnone im Cobra Museum in Amstelveen

Unter dem Titel Just Different! präsentiert das Cobra Museum Amstelveen eine groß angelegte Gruppenschau, die sich auf Gender-Politics, alternative Lebensformen und Identitätsbildung in der Bildenden Kunst zu Beginn des 21. Jahrhunderts fokussiert. Die Berliner Malerin Kerstin Drechsel zeigt acht Gemälde aus ihrer Serie POSTER_BOX (2003-2004). Das New Yorker Künstlerduo Lovett/Codagnone ist mit der Arbeit Greetings von 1996 vertreten. Die von Frank Wagner kuratierte Ausstellung, die rund 100 Werke von insgesamt 35 internationalen Künstlern umfasst, ist vom 14. Juni bis 21. September 2008 zu sehen.
